August 11th 2008

Wow just about 4 months since the last update, not bad isn't it, wow I always thought there were worst people than me (yeah Rachel you) on updating their sites and adding stuff to it (si Arturito tu tambien), but I have the greatest excuse and actually, a great reason on why I have been a little bit distracted. My MOM was here to visit me. It made me so much good to have her here with me. As you can imagine there were a lot of question, a lot of answers, and things that I have been dealing all this time since my dad had passed, it is still hard for me, now and God only knows for how long, believe that he is gone., it only seems like he did not come here because he had something to do while in Bolivia.

But I don't want anybody to be sad for what I wrote, I had a great time with her company here, we actually did a lot and some of the stuff was not even planned. went to 4 or 5 weddins I really lost the count, then travel to different places, she was able to come to one of my races, got to enjoy the nice and hot summer ha, got to see all my friends and meet all the new ones, all my family, here in the States. A great time that I wouldn't change it for nothing in the world.

I should keep writing about it but it's time for me to go to bed, I will try to update some stuff here soon, since I am going to be agood boy on the next 3 weeks, the grands are coming, plus what we are looking for, the BMX debut on the Olympics, remember it's on the 20th and 21st be ready because it's going to be GOOD!!!

April 9th 2008

Hola to everybody, thanks for keeping with me, well if you have done that, have been traveling to much lately, it's also crazy how fast the time goes that you start thinking that you have time for your next trip, but whenever you look back your calendar you are just a few days from another great adventure, and sometimes you wonder why did you put your bike together, you should of leave it on the bag and have an extra one ready just to use it when you are at home, two trips in a month, they both went very fast, it felt liek there were just a week between each race, first one was at West Palm Beach, Florida and to end the good month ended up going to Whittier Narrows, California. But before starting with the adventures, some people notice my hair keeps growing, it's for a good cause, and this past weekend in California reminded me why am I doing it and keep going strong with it, I know it's taking long time on doing it, don't care, it's for a good cause and don't hate the game, I know my hair will always look better than yours.

West Palm BMX track it's a great facility, the track it's awesome, and fast, well a little bit long too, sometimes you wish the finish line was at the end of the third straight but you have to do what it's best and that's push hard to the end, something that I forgot and did not do. Was a little bit tired by the third day, can not use the excuse of the bad weather the weekend before heading down to Florida without being able to ride and train, it happen and I should of still have pedal to the end. Got to hang out with a bunch of friends that I haven't seen in a while, Mosquito, Villax, my friends from Spain were on the house, Javier, Rafael, Alejandro, people from Ecuador and Colombia made it too, friends that I have known since the 90s were there, guys that don't race anymore but still remember the good all times for sure.

Whittier Narrows, the other side of the coin, complete the oposite to what Floridas track was, it was a nice lay out but a lot of spot had loose dirt and made it a little bit hard to ride the turns and at time your read wheel will be spinning out of the gate of how many loose dirt was right after the gate dropped. But you have to race and show what you got. Did my thing, had a lot of fun, not sure what was going on through my mind but i couldnt quiet figure why I was making a bunch of mistakes over the jumps and not aproaching them on a different way, I was a little bit tired from the flight but that doesn't meant I haven't been training better. I felt good going into this race, I think the training that I am doing is paying off, but I think I haev to still focus a little more on the spinning and my mind too. Other than the race got to stay at my friend David's house, which I really appreciate them for opening their house to me and Mike, we had a great time, they were there for us, took us every where, Hollywood, Go karts, Huntington Beach, got to go to the S&M factory and to the Troy Lee Design Factory, two great places for sure. Damian was back from his long trip to Argentina, it's always a fun time with him, I think my stomach had a workout from laughing teh whole weekend. Next race might be Woodbridge and then a little rest time until South Park and Nashvile, why? because my MOM it's coming yuuuhuuuuuu

March 7th 2008

Yeah jus about two months since I had the last update done on my site, got to do a lot of things actually, some went good and some were to think about it and work on it too. Went to Arizona, the place was awesome, track nice and smooth, but the only crappy thing was the weather, it was snowing when I left Ohio and hoping for a warmer weather I was wrong again and it was raining, the race went well, I was getting tired by the end of the second straight and it was becoming a little bit hard on jumping the prosection, one because my legs were on fire and the other reason because it was crazy windy. I had only been going to the gym until that point and no sprints at all, so I can say i was strong but not in the greatest shape to pedal fast. You live and you learn right??

Came back and got really sick, my bday for those that don't know or remember was on February 1st, went to the Indoor track, at the beginning was feeling like crap got better while riding but once i got home I was dying and spent all weekend long on bed paying for all my sins if you can say that, had a bad cough infection and had to take antibiotics for a week and once i got better I was able to start doing some excersises at the new gym that I have just join. It's pretty goo actually, it;s not as small as the last one, it actually has a bunch of great stuff that I can use, and of course a lot more of distraction to my eyes, girls haha.

Also there's a new section on my welcome page, I created a new section that is all about my friends down in BOLIVIA that have put a Soccer team together to start playing on this little league, and the best thing, for me, about it is that the team name it's actually JAMALAMA, they are doing a great job at the games, I just hope they can keep sending me more pictures to keep you all update it and smiling because they are making me smile. You should see how many emails go around during the whole day just talking about the previous game and the next game, crazy!!!! Next stop for me, Florida and California, wish me luck, I will bring pictures.

January 11th 2008

Welcome to the year 2008!!! With a new update, been busy with friends staying over, a lot of shopping to be done, a lot of racing action while some of them were here too. All of that will be on a set of pictures by the end of this entree, but I can say it was a good time, I feel lucky to have friends that are part of my family and I got to spent great times with them.

Christmas Classic made his way again, it was an event a bunch of us were waiting for, it's a great race, a lot of people comes to it, and you can always count with a good level going into the race. I did my best during the rce and learn more of the mistakes that I made during practice and race, I still gave my 100% and battle through the end, not happy with the results but at the same time it doesn't mean that I would give up, I know what I am suppose to work on and will fight and work for what I like and enjoy doing. A bunch of friends ended up coming to this race, from all over South America and Europe. The level is growing as we get close to the Olympic debut of BMX Racing, people is training really hard in order first make the country teams and then make it to the big show. Ramiro Marino, Fausto Endara were both riding strong and hoping to have a place at the time of the selection, one for Argentina and the other one for Ecuador. Thank the rest of the crew came either to do shopping, carry the water or like my two friends visit me, Mauricio and Cristian Sarmiento.

We had great time, I have to admit that I am not use to do a lot of shopping and they really did a lot, but when you have the opportunity you should right??? They did not come to race but they were great support on making me see what and where I was making the mistakes while the race was going on, and I really appreciate that coming from them because I am usually the one telling them what to do haha. Overall I can say it was a good race and the track was fast, pro section was no joke, looking to Superclass, a few people had a rough time while racing in it, but at the end the ones that were doing it right came out front. I hope to come with new stuff soon, want to work on a new lay out but sometimes can't find the time to do it, is not that I don't have it, it is that it's a project that needs to come out clean and good to be read every day right... until then take care and God bless to all of you this year.

December 09 2007

I am here, alive, getting back to updating my site, it has been a while, I know, to tell you the truth I was not even sure when was I going to put my self together and do it had a lot of ideas going all this time through my mind, but never got the chance to get them out, just because pure laziness or maybe because the ideas that I had they all surrounded my dad. He passed in October 14th, a week before the race in Las Vegas, nothing was expected, nothing was planned and no one was ready for this hard hit. But I guess that's just life and how him, God, has it for all of us.

Now I'm getting back to my training and hoping to do better than what I did in Boulder city. It' crazy how things can chage when you don't train, sleep and have your mind set on racing, it was going to be my first race this season on Elite and wanted to do good, tried to motivate my self in different ways, it did good to me being able to spent time with a few of my friends and I am lucky to have close friends like them. Now I just have to focus on training for the classic here in Columbus, do a good job and luckily they have open an indoor track near by so I can get my train on. Hope to post some more pictures soon, but I am going to leave you with some from the clinic I did last June.

August 28th 2007

I have been working on a new update for a while but have not have the chance to do it, woke up this morning early and decide to do it. Things have been going very well, shoulder is getting strong and have been riding a lot and getting ready for this weekend, little nervous I can say but excited at the same time, feel like I have been training the right way, this weekend will be crazy but fun, at the same time looking forward to have a great weekend and some how, make it better than last year, yeah you might remember when I crashed during practice and ended up having surgery, yeah that weekend has finally come and I am ready. There would be a live web cast from the races on saturday night (BMXtvdirect.com), they will have a Pro Spectacular between 5 and 8 in the afternoon, will be fast and full of fun. Have been riding trails like crazy and my friend JRod send me some pictures and they look awesome, you can visit his site at jrodsphotoshop.com

Last week had to go to the dentist to have a root canal done to one of my tooth, let me tell you about this now, once I had it done in Bolivia, and for the little bit that I can remember I kind of knew what I was getting involved in to, was even telling the person that was doing the prep what they were about to do to me, well it actually went very well, the only thing that I don't like it's the anesthesia, they either put a lot or not at all, well I decide to say yes to the doctor and be part of a study, what do I mean by that? after the root canal was over they paid me 120 dollars, they will use my case to teach students, isn't that very cool? I mean the money part of course, the procedure went well and smooth but it took about 3 to 4 hours on the anesthesia to pass on and have feeling on my lip, oh well that's what I don't like from it.

Akron is a fun track to ride at, very long, people talks about it, doesn't like, I can start saying the same thing, but then I think about my home track in La Paz-Bolivia and it makes me realize that this is nothing and I can pedal very hard to the end. Got to use my new FLY race pants, very nice looking and comfortable, thanks to Ray for the Support. First day had good motos and on the main over shoot one of the jumps and ended up in 7th place, well happy and look forward for sundays race. Well it was raining, thought they will cancel the race and it didn't happen, raced and by the time of the main events it was a mud fest, finished 4th at the main event, raced with flat pedals, had a lot of fun and a lot of washing to do for sure.

Hopefully my next update will be full of pictures from the grands, hanging out with my friends that are coming to this race, also will try to get some video of me playing with the pro section, of course back in one piece and with a lot of adventures to tell you, wish me luck, thanks to all my friends for supporting me and motivate me and for those that I haven't talk I hope I do it soon.

August 2nd 2007

Been a while since I post something on my journal, about 3 months since writing any of my adventures any of the fun things that have been happening and of course some of the hard time which you are never free of them right?? But that's life and we have to keep going and rolling, like I always say, with high hopes and faith you can get far. So far this season Have been good, after making my mains in California I have been having a good season, making more mains, making a little bit of money too, been training much better than last year, the only thing I changed I think is on how to approach things and the training, riding and at the gym, and it's paying off, it doesn't mean it has been easy but it was worth it. On the bad part, well my car got broken into and took my stereo and picture camera, they broke my side window, was a little upset when I saw it but once I saw that my bike was still on the bike seat I was feeling better, they cut themselfs with the glass got a little bit of blood on the seat, took the Amp that it wasn't working, but that teach me a lesson and I learned it on a very bad way but I did.

During the month of june some friends came to visit me, Jazmin (Jazzy) and Patricia, they took a long vacation going to Florida, Ohio, Illinois, New York and Virginia, not bad for a present after graduating from the University eehh. We had a great time and they had to adjust to my "busy schedule, as they arrived they came with me to West Virginia because I had a clinic to instruct, and that was great because they took some pictures and helped collecting the money haha. Then with Jazzy we went to Cedar Point since my trip to Rockford got cancelled we ended up having a great weekend, saturday to Cedar Point and sunday to the Formula One Race at Indianapolis, all I can say is.... Awesome!!!!!

As they left on their rest of the trip I was off to a race in Evansville, IN with Rachel, made my main and well things were looking good but I crashed, it wasn't my fault and I have pictures to prove it wasn't by my self. After that my friend from Bolivia, Mauricio came to start his training towards the UCI world championships, this being his first year in junior had to prepare in a different way and I wanted to help as much as I could, He actually got a lot better and faster, not because of me but because of his energy and commitment, went off to South Park with him, Ramiro and Jonathan, looking for a good weekend and he actually ended up placing 3rd for the first day, sadly things did not work like that the second day, crashing but still learning a lot from it. Me, I was feeling good going into this weekend, strong, practice was good, but racing ways was not, crashed on my first moto qualifier, hurt a little bit my good shoulder, decide to call off my weekend before it could get worst, and it was actually a smart idea because now is back to normal and getting strong. But I will leave you with some pictures and will hopefully come back with more in the next couple of days, there's more to tell.

May 8th 2007

Before leaving into a new adventure I did not want to leave with out a quick update, yeah I mean I have things to say right, well went to race in Woodbridge, Virginia, things were starting out very well for the weekend, but not everything is perfect, and actually ended up crashing in the first moto, can you believe that, the first one of the weekend, it was nuts, something that I can't still understand how did it happen, I know I landed on my head, but the part that actually ended up hurting was the groin area, like I had pulled something, did not race the second day, just to make sure I don't hurt it even more and now I am getting ready to go to California.

Got to hang out with a lot of friends that I haven't seen in a while, people from Bolivia, got together again with Rachel and Damian, a new adventure, this time taking us to a different place, we stayed at the Family Larsons house, which we really appreciate it, they are an awesome family, got to ride some motorcycles, it was an awesome time, I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as Damian did but I did ride for a bit.

Another Family that I got chance to hang out with was the Alejandre family, haven't seen them together in a while, since they have stop riding they have been doing their thing and I totally respect that, but still they were talking about coming back and they even rode mi bike haha, nono I fool them a little bit by telling them hey can you hold my bike and taking a picture of them on it, and like I told them here  I will be posting the pictures. I will Keep you updated once I get back from California, 12 days out there will be a great time.

April 24th 2007

Well where were we? oh yeah I went to Florida for the two nationals down there, first weekend in Sarasota and the second at Orlando, we stayed in Adrian and Rafaels house, it's an awesome place to stay and they have a great family, always laughing and having a great time. Rachel, Damian and my self were on a mission, bring good results, and also have a good time down there, since the weather was bad here in Ohio. Also a lot of learning while at the races and also a lot of video games played.

We also got together with a bunch of friends that we haven't seen in a while, Ricardo and Mauricio Sarmiento came all the way from Bolivia, that way they can see what's waiting for them at the worlds since Mauricio will be racing the Junior Class. Also the Endara family from Ecuador, I met the mom back on '96 while in Ibarra for a Intercontinental Championship. My friend Michael DePippo was in the house too, racing cruiser class trying to pull the big "Lammoglia" and be the next world champion at the world championships in Canada this year.

The races were great, first weekend the track was not the greatest but you have to do what it takes to come out and get in front,  I didn't have a good first weekend, no sure if it was me or just excuses, the second weekend went much better, but I still need to keep riding more and more until I can bring the old me to the show. Rachel did very well the first weekend, placing third at the UCI race, the only American to be on the podium, that made it even more special, she rode very well, had a bad gate on the main event but actually got a good come back at the first turn, moving from 8th to 2nd and ending the lap un third, impressive.

Now I'm on my way to Woodbridge, Virginia, I hope is a better weekend since I had a little more of time riding outside and doing my sprints, also loose some weight that I had kept on the trunk since I was only lifting the whole time I was inside for the winter like a good bear. I hope to be able to update my site sometime next week, right before I head over to California for 12 days, yes you read it right, 12 days yuhuuuuu

March 5th 2007

a month since I did my last update, why, well maybe because I kept my self busy with training, trying to catch up with it, because all the time I spent on the bench didn't help me at all just needed a good time to rest and get a rid f all the bad stuff on my mind and now all the bad stuff on my body haha if you know what I am saying.

Just came back, well a week ago, from my trip to Las Vegas, it was a great time with my friends also a great feeling racing again, I was missing it so much that it was like my drug and me not being able to buy it haha, but hey this is a healthy drug and keeps me happy and moving all around the world, of course since I haven't been riding and racing it was a little bit had to come out and be able to ride like I was doing it before my injury. But through out the weekend my gates got better and well I was getting really tired by the second turn, I can tell you I was feeling my legs like they were ready to cook some eggs and bacon on them, crazy, that's call I need to do more sprints.

Hanged out with my friends from Colombia, Ecuador, Spain and France, and for what I know by the time I have to go to Florida more people will be there and we will have more fun. We got to visit many places, we went to the Hoover Dam great view and awesome pictures were taken, then sunday night we did a very quick trip to Las Vegas strip, we did a very quick walk because we had to take people to the airport and that was the quickest walk on Las Vegas and also I got more tired from taking some luggage to the counter than racing, it was funny but hey we got to do what we got to do haha.

February 1st 2007

Hey my friends, here I am with a very quick update, what have I've been doing? well riding and riding when is not cold or going down to Dayton indoor track or The Flow Skatepark, and also doing the usual workout that way I can bring the weight that I put up during this time I haven't exercise. Feeling good with every week of work done, not going back to work at the bar yet, they told me they don't need me right now, I hope they don't mean they don't need me anymore.

Other than that just keeping my self busy with work and riding, having a lot of fun while doing it. Last weekend was the race in Puerto Rico and I heard it was a lot of fun, sad that it was only 27th motos but hey it's better than nothing right?? also very happy for my friend Rich Montalvo, he hasn't been riding at all, and he goes barrows shoes, pedals, bike, helmet and even gloves to go and win the Pump race, not a very close race but hey destroy by a three bike length,  hopefully soon he will be back at the track but this time ready to pedal and snap out of the gate.

Oh yeah today it's my bday too, well what am I doing updating my site, probably just giving you a little bit to read and remind you to call me or email me ha, but I will update some time soon before I head over to Vegas and ready to dace my first since last september, it would be really interesting, and fun Of course, also some projects are in the works, news about it soon.

January 11th 2007

Happy new year my friends, I hope you all got to celebrate together with your families and had a great time. On my part I had a great time, not probably what I thought, maybe I had something else on mind or maybe I even thought that I was going to be by my self, but actually ended up having a great time with my friend Luis Fernando that came all the way from Bolivia to race the Xmass Classic. It was funny because we flew on the 22nd, his first time out of the country and the day of his bday, so imagine that it was an awesome feeling and present for him. Took him to the skatepark, to the restaurant where I work, and to meet my family here for christmas dinner, he had a great time and later on another group of bolivians joined us to complete the adventure, Adrian, Vicente and Rafael. I also got to hang out with friends that I haven't seen for a while, like Damian Lopez, Rachel Smith, JC the Man, Diego Alejandre, Augusto Castro, Mariana Pajon, Jonathan Villa and Sergio Salazar.

Didn't get to race the Christmas Classic, I try to ride the track, it was hard, specially for the pro section, you really needed to be in the best shape and Io wasn't, I didn't want to lie to my self, and it was a hard decision to make, to not race it, since I have been racing in the states I think I never missed one, but like JB told me, is better for you, because you don't want to spent more time out without riding. I saw a few people getting hurt and I am sure that I would of be one of them, so I think that was a good relief for me and my body. But I got to help my friend Rich Montalvo video taping the races, so now you can check the videos at the best website out there, BMXVIDEO.NET.

Now it's just a few more weeks to finish with my physiotherapy, and I have been already riding and lifting, and I feel good, I already booked some of the trips for the next couple of months so that would keep me busy and ready to get back on shape. I was lucky I didn't gain that much weight since I haven't been doing much since I hurt my self, I guess trying to keep a good line, eating a little good and a little bad, now I can say I am back to normal and soon back to having fun with what I do.... BMX.

December 4th 2006

The year is almost over is that time where you start planning what would be happening for the next year and also analyzing what happen in this past year, the good ones and the bad ones, and learn from them, also start looking to plan an schedule for all the races and trip and airfares, start talking to friends that way we can get together and live one more of our numerous adventures. Of course I will try to update my site, but sometimes it gets hard  to do so, or try to get the right material that way you can enjoy the reading.

Shoulder has been getting better, went to the doctor today and he gave me the thumbs up to start riding, easy but try to do it more and more every time, he said to be honest with my self once the time of racing comes along, I have the Christmas Classic around the corner and not sure how well would I be by then, it's only three weeks out, a lot of people has already been riding and racing, it would be hard, but I need to be serious about the training that I'm doing right now, with the work out that I did this afternoon my legs where already feeling the pain and hopefully they would not be as sore as I'm hoping. But soon, soon enough I will be out there jumping like a little kid, I've been really missing riding all this time, it's my addiction, I think I'm not the only one, it keeps my mind busy and clear from bad thought and this past few months have been a little hard on me, but I'm getting more anxious day by day with the results and the support of friends and family.

October 29th 2006

Where have I been this cast couple of weeks? well doing my thing, doing my physiotherapy, it's been hurting, they have been pushing me a lot, even though I only go once a week, and the rest of the time I do it on my own, I thought and asked if pain was good, and yes it is, since I took long time on having the surgery done plus the time I spent on the sling, so it's going to take a little longer on get back on shape, I am only working on stretching at this point, but hopefully I would start with strength soon enough and have time to get ready for the ABA Grand Nationals. Then Halloween is here, I was hoping to got to some parties but I was probably on the mood to do so, I was suppose to learn how to carve a Pumpkin but that's not going to happen either, so probably next year I will, I had the perfect costume, A very bloody BMXer with slings on both arms, so for those that might have parties coming up I give you an idea.

Then the usual at work, trying to fix some stuff here and there, trying to put together the schedule for next year, and a possibly trip home, but that's in the list of the many things I will like to do. Also I am not sure if I have mention to you, that another of the many things that I do is, commercials, yeah, in spanish, this is probably the second or third year, it is awesome, I have been on two and then the rest of the time I most likely will help to either do translations of the script or coach the people on the set, making sure the pronunciation is correct and people can understand it.

Then I think some of you know, I am a bartender, so when I am not out of town on races I will be at the bar, making people happy, it's at a mexican restaurant, that's where I have the pleasure to meet a lot of friends, and specially, my sponsors, Ed and Barb, how lucky I am, I think I never thought about it, and I try to give back to them what they do for me. As you can see I am a man of many professions, haha and I try to take advantage of one and each single thing, learning and showing them what a Bolivian can do. Oh before I leave, some people misunderstood my last update, I think the things that I wrote were not explained in a right way or with a good reason, I apologize for that, and some other time I will explain the why, once things get in order and again sorry, I never meant to refer to anybody with that posting.

October 8th 2006

Here I am a little better, had surgery on my shoulder, I know I was suppose to let you know how the doctors visit went on my last update, but I think it wasn't that easy to think about me having surgery, hoping that it wasn't that big of a deal and in less than 5 minutes they tell you you have to make a decision, to have it or not. The doctor was really impressed that the actual injure was not the rotator cuff, which it would of be a worst scenario, it was right on the humerus,  he said I could go on with out surgery but I will have problem in the future from moving it up and since it was the right arm I made up my mind, but not with out talking to my US family, Jack and Michelle, made the decision and had surgery 3 days after I found out the problem, then I stayed at their house, which I really really appreciate it, I have to tell you, they are the best, that's why I consider them my family, they are there for me and I'm for them.

So the big question, how long would I be out, 6 weeks, maybe, depending how the therapy goes, how the arm and the healing respond, all this last couple of weeks have been really boring,  it's really bad when you have things to do but been like this is like what or where, I think because most of the activities are involved with my bike, trying to be patient it's not easy, but my friend has already told me one thing that it's very true- "take advantage of the recovery time, sometimes the time you have off is better than if you kept on training", thanks Matt.

Other than that missing a lot of things, things that are not here anymore, or they might come back, I know this is just form a few more weeks, but there are more things that are not only my bike and me, but if they are not suppose to be there or to happen I guess that just life, and I am suppose to go forward and keep doing what I have been doing all this time, put my self together and keep growing as a person, keep opening the doors that I have left to open, live new adventures and only God knows what else is out there for me, once I get better I will be focusing more on my self, projects and plan more for the future, a new season is about to start, the year is about to be over, time is flying to better take advantage of it.

So here I am back in action, well as far as trying to update my site of course, why? because I hurt my self during thursday's practice at the grand nationals, that was really bad, this time the good shoulder, I was hoping by friday morning it would feel much better but it got really sore and stiff and didn't want to risk a longer injury so I pulled out from the race, really frustrated, because in the last month in a half I was doing so good with my training and trying to be ready, for the grands and also for the Supercross Race in California, but due to my anxiety on keep riding made a bad choice and ended up crashing, and this time wasn't because someone said, don't crash or brake bones, so you are not responsible for this, it was all me.

I think this year didn't start that good, starting from the race here in Columbus to this past weekend, but I learned a lot from my riding and how good can I come out from the injuries and not getting frustrated, it is hard not o do so because you don't have the chance to ride and do what you like, but is also good to get better mentally and physically, that way the injury doesn't get worst, why? because why to push something when there're more races ahead of me, I  want to keep enjoying this sport as long as I can and been injured is not going to help, so this little brake will help a lot that way I can start riding and train hard for the beginning of next season. I will be posting some new pictures thru out the weeks, so stay in touch with the site, and I will do the same. But I Want to thank all the people that has support me thru out this past months, GOD, Jack, Ed Turner, Bill @ Supercross, Chad @ Shimano, Ryan @ Sun Ringle, Kenda, Mosquito, PF BMX, The Smith Family and to all my friends and the new ones to come, and you.

Wow looking at this age it makes me sick of how bad I've been on my updates, crazy stuff isn't it, I wonder why people keeps telling me, update your site, we already know what's on it, we know the pictures, we know the interview is new, but since last year, yeah it has been a long long summer, and yes I'm finally getting some time, well trying to find some time to get this better, I even thought about a new face to it but i will need a little more of time to do so.

It all started with my trip to Florida for the Easter classic, I spent a great time with my friends Rafael and Adrian and their family, they were awesome to hang out with them, traveling with them remind me the times and adventures with my friends down in Bolivia, it was also my first race since my shoulder injury, so it didn't go as well as I thought, came back to Ohio and start riding and getting ready for the summer.

Then it was about the time to figure it out what races I was going to, and two came out, the greatest trip ever, California, yes sir, the place where everybody wants to go, the places where all the show and Pros are, I stayed at Damian's place and it was a great place, very comfortable, I really had a great time with him, we also played a lot of PS2 on our free time, the first thing he did was taking me to the famous trails that everybody talks about. Sheep Hills, wow what a great time, a dream come true, then off to Prundale,  it was a small turn out, but it was an UCI race so a lot of pros showed up, and there were just a few motos between class and UCI that as soon you were ready to sit down you were heading over the gate again. Didn't make it out of the Motos, so now it was time for the second weekend, Lake Perris, a lot more people and a great track very fast, like a usual ABA track, I rode much better than the first weekend, but found my self with a bunch of points, but it was a lot to learn from it too.

Did I told you that I got to spent also both weekend with my great friend Arturo, aka Arturhoffman.Com, it was a great time, and also had the tremendous pleasure to Meet a great personality, Mister Bill Ryan from Supercross, finally putting a face with the voice, I was really excited and why not proud to finally met the man that has been helping me thru all this past years with the awesome frames, I got to hang out with him and spent both weekend at the Supercross trailer. Thanks Again Bill for being a great friend and make me part of the family.

I will continue with more adventures with the time and changing some of the pictures and adding some more, and also talking about the adventures.

Well here I am my friends, starting a new year and well trying to put things together, last month, I mean last december, last year, however you want to take it finished in a pretty bad way, which I can't complaint to much about it because I'm here, like I mention at the intro of my site I had a car accident, rear ended to be exact, I was completely stop to make a left turn, when out of nowhere I got hit from behind, so hard that the impact made my seat move all the way to the back and move al least another 20 feet from the accident, even me pressing the brakes, lucky me I kept the car straight because there were a lot of incoming traffic, I didn't know what to do, a very scary situation, I didn't know what to do, thank God I called my friends and they came to my rescue, and helped me to relax and be positive about it, now I'm still dealing with the insurance company, yeah my car is total and that means a new car would come, and when that happen I would let you know.

Then Christmas Classic, my friends came and stay with me, Gonzalo Marino from Argentina and David Peņa from Spain, we had a great time on christmas eve, had a great mean, some cheese from Spain that it was awesome, then we spent next day some time with the rest of the people coming to the race, JC and Diego, Miguel and Sarah, Damian, Javier, at Rachel's house, a very warm way to spent the holidays together. But I forgot to mention my friends from Bolivia,  Adrian, Cristian and Rafael, it was the first time I met them, and my friend had talk to me a lot about them, and we had a great together, had lunch together, they had a lot of fun and we are hoping this is not the only time with meet up in a race. Like I said before, things were looking good starting with practice, the track had a nice layout, a little soft in the beginning but by starting time it got better, the berm jump,  I had a little bit of trouble in the beginning but then I realize that it was fun and start playing with it, then we had a little more of time to practice after the presidents cup race, and then race time, I was having a good time and feeling good, I was racing two classes, one A Pro and UCI points race, of course wearing my Bolivian Jersey,  and how can I forgot my other colors, Supercross, looking sharp and clean jumping the Pro Section. Motos were going well on A pro, having my self in front of the pack or in the middle of it, but hey I was riding strong, but not everything is good, and on my second moto of the UCI race I took a nasty crash on the second Pro straight, thanks Tom for talking to me when I was on the floor and thanks to my friends that came to see how I was doing, I saw the video of it and it was hard, right now I have a sore shoulder and something on my back but I hope to get better and ready for my next race, but right now I'm just recovering from it, I hope to soon have the video of it.

I think it's all for now I would be posting new pictures in the next couple of weeks, on my friends section from our crazy time at xmass and also from my trip to Chicago for new years, Congratulate Pablo and Yovanka for their beautiful wedding, hey a new website is about to come out, not sure who it is yet, but hey be ready, I would be one of the first places to announce it, so until then, I say good bye, not with out wishing everybody the best for this new year, it seems that is late to say this, but as you can see I had my head busy with so many things, but I'm here I want to appreciate God for taking care of me and give me the strength to keep going with my life, my family for their support, Pandilla my best friends, Jack and Michelle my family, mi Donita, Sid and family,  Ed And Barb Turner,  Arturhoffman that always lecture me thanks bro, The Smith's family, Alejandre's Family, Bill Ryan at Supercross, Jerry Landrum at BMXmania, Domingos Lamoglia at DL, and you for reading and supporting me all this time.
